One dead in shooting at Love’s truck stop, Kentucky State Patrol confirms

A fatal shooting took place early on Friday morning at a Love’s truck stop in Hart County, Kentucky.

The shooting took place at a Love’s Travel Stop located off I-65 in Horse Cave, Kentucky.

“We got the call at 4 a.m., one was shot and killed following an altercation at the Love’s Truck Stop,” Kentucky State Patrol (KSP) Trooper Katan Parker told CDLLife in an email.

The identity of the deceased has not been released.

No further information is currently available from KSP as the investigation continues.
