The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) released results from last week’s Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) International Roadcheck inspection blitz.

On May 20, AZDPS released results from the three-day Roadcheck commercial vehicle inspection detail, which took place May 14 though May 16, 2026.

More than 1,000 commercial vehicle inspections were conducted as a part of the AZDPS Roadcheck effort.

Approximately one-third of the commercial vehicle inspections resulted in out-of-service orders for either the vehicle or the driver, AZDPS said.

The most common violations found during the Arizona Roadcheck effort were “fictitious logbook entries and broken vehicle parts.”

Additionally, officers seized more than 5,200 pounds of marijuana as a result of the Roadcheck campaign.
