OOIDA’s ‘Truckers for Troops’ program accepting care package requests for deployed military members

The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) is accepting requests for care packages to be sent to U.S. military members who are serving overseas.

As part of OOIDA’s Truckers for Troops program, OOIDA is now accepting requests for care packages to be sent to deployed military personnel.

OOIDA says that the packages contain “a variety of useful and morale-boosting items such as snacks, toiletries, games, lip balm, socks, hygiene supplies, condiments, hot sauce, and other requested items.”

The care packages weigh around 70 pounds and measure approximately 18 x 16 x 14 inches.

If you would like to request a Truckers for Troops care package for deployed family member or friend, you may email the service member’s full name, complete mailing address and projected stateside return date to troops@ooida.com

The care packages also include cards of appreciation.

If you are interested in sending cards of appreciation to be included in the care packages, you can reach out to the address below. (Please do not include last names or other personal information. Town or school names may be included.)
