PBR still looking for two loads of stolen beer after fraudulent subcontracted trucking companies snag the loads 

Pabst Brewing Co. is still looking for about $70,000 worth of stolen PBR after fraudulent practices by subcontracted trucking companies made the theft possible. 

The 1,602 cases of beer were stolen in two separate incidents on August 17th at a Montclair, California warehouse. The first theft involved a load of beer worth about $45,000 headed for Tuscon, Arizona that was picked up and then never delivered. About an hour after that load was picked up, a  “purported subcontracting company” provided fake documents that allowed them to pick up a load of beer worth about $25,000, reported ABC News.

Since the theft, Pabst Brewing Company has seemed to capitalize on the free PR opportunity by offering the thieves a ‘no questions asked’ policy if they return the beer by September 9th. On Wednesday, September 2nd, CEO of Pabst Brewing Co., Greig DeBow, took to TikTok to make another plea for the return of the beer, and to offer a reward of $20,000 for any information that leads to its recovery. 

“Someone had the balls to steal it,” he said in the video. 

“I’m sure they look cool with a garage full of PBR.. That’s actually not cool though. We want it back.”
