The Benton County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) put the brakes on a pallet theft in progress in the Kennewick, Washington, area.
Early on the morning on June 28, BCSO deputies responded to a call about a theft in progress from a manager at a business on Plymouth Road in Benton County, Washington.
The manager told police that a suspect was loading pallets on a pickup truck.
BCSO located the pickup a short distance from the business.
A traffic stop was initiated by BCSO Deputy L. McMillian.
The pickup driver admitted to taking the pallets and was arrested without incident, police said.
The driver was booked into the Benton County Jail on charges of Theft 3rd Degree and Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree.
