Semi trucks collide avoiding worker retrieving construction cones

A pair of semi trucks collided after one slowed to avoid hitting a construction worker gathering up orange cones.

The crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. in Ogden, Utah on Interstate 15.

According to ABC4, the first semi truck approached a construction zone and slowed down as a worker walked around gathering construction cones. A second semi truck then failed to brake in time and crashed into the first semi truck, causing a crash that also involved a car.

No injuries were reported in the crash, but the incident caused significant traffic between Farr West and Ogden during the investigation and cleanup of the incident.

All lanes of the interstate have since been reopened. No further information has been released.
