Tesla opens second public semi truck Megacharger

Tesla has opened the second public semi truck Megacharger as part of its 66 planned megacharger locations across the United States.

The Megacharger station is now open at 4265 E Guasti Road in Ontario, California, and is open to all Tesla semi fleet customers.

According to Electrek, the location sits near the interchange of Interstate 10 and Interstate 15, making it an ideal spot for electric trucks to charge up while transporting loads between the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and inland locations.

While this Megacharger is the second available to the public, it is the first public semi truck Megacharger built entirely for customers, with no intended use for Tesla’s internal fleet. Tesla plans to build an entire network of 66 Megachargers by 2027.
