The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) arrested two men believed to be transporting $470,000 worth of stolen vehicles through Texas to Honduras using semi trucks.
On the morning of April 6, 2026, GCSO and the Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office intercepted two tractor trailers on IH-10 in Texas.

GCSO said that the trucks were hauling six stolen vehicles worth $470,000 to a destination in Honduras.
Police arrested Pedro Velasquez, 19, currently residing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Dany Arias-Tucios, 48, of Honduras on charges of theft of property valued between $150,000 and $300,000.

Both men were described by GCSO as “Honduran nationals.”
The trucks, trailers, and stolen vehicles are being held by police as part of the investigation.

The incident remains under investigation, and additional arrests or charges could follow.
