Multiple people were arrested after drugs were discovered during a raid at a truck stop located in Montana.
At 9 a.m. on June 8, 2026, the Beaverhead County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) and other agencies executed a search warrant at a truck stop located in a rural area near Dillon, Montana.
BCSO seized 104 pounds of Schedule II drugs from the truck stop.
Local outlet KBZK identified the drugs seized from the truck stop as unwashed poppies that were being ground up and sold to truck drivers as a tea with a narcotic effect.
The outlet said that a trucker tipped off law enforcement during a stop at a weigh station in Lima about the drugs being distributed from the truck stop.
Three people were arrested as a result of the truck stop raid.
BCSO said that there is currently “no danger to the public.”
