Police are investigating a multiple fatality shooting incident that took place at a trucking company facility in Midland, Texas, on Monday.
Shortly before 7 a.m. on June 22, the Midland County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) responded to the JAT Partner Logistics facility in the 5400 block of East Highway 80 for a report of shots fired.
On arrival, MCSO found three people dead from apparent gunshot wounds at the facility.
A witness told NewsWest9 that an employee shot two other workers at the facility before shooting himself, but police have yet to confirm these details.
The outlet identified one of the deceased as Jeff Waugh, 45.
There is no threat to the public, MCSO said.
The shooting is under investigation by MCSO and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
