The California Highway Patrol (CHP) found a large number of violations on a commercial truck traveling on a restricted roadway.
The truck was discovered by troopers performing enforcement on vehicles bypassing the Cordelia Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility located in Fairfield, California, CHP said on Friday, April 24.
“A truck-tractor pulling a trailer was located traveling on a road in which it was not allowed to be on,” state troopers said.
A traffic stop was initiated, and a commercial vehicle inspection was conducted.
During the inspection, CHP troopers uncovered 24 violations, including 7 out-of-service violations.
Both the truck and trailer were towed from the scene.
CHP says that the truck driver was cited.
