Drivers should expect to see an increased police presence on I-75 over the weekend as troopers from three states partner to enforce traffic laws.
From Friday, February 14 through Sunday, February 16, the “6 State Trooper Project” enforcement effort will be taking place along I-75.
Participating agencies include the Kentucky State Police, Michigan State Police, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
As part of the I-75 enforcement effort, state troopers will increase patrols looking for violations like speeding and not wearing seatbelts.
The other three members of the 6 State Trooper Project, Indiana State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, and West Virginia State Police, will not participate in the weekend enforcement operation.
