A truck driver is in custody after police found his wife nearly dead inside of his semi truck with “facial injuries” that later took her life.
61-year-old truck driver James Miller was arrested in Toledo, Ohio for the incident. He is based out of Abilene, Texas.
According to Fox West Texas, Miller’s wife was found seriously hurt inside of his semi truck with “facial injuries consistent with an assault and was ultimately declared deceased.” Miller later admitted to being with the woman “for several days” leading up to her death.
Miller has been booked in the Lucas County Corrections Center on a felony charge of “assault victim seriously harmed.” He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
