Indiana State Police (ISP) responded to an accident that severely damaged the cab of a semi truck on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of April 8, 2026, on northbound I-465 on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana.
ISP Public Information Office John Perrine shared images of a coil crashed into the back of the cab of a semi truck on I-465, but did not provide details on what caused the truck’s load to strike the cab.

ISP said that there were no serious injuries from the crash.
The incident resulted in traffic backups of five miles as crews worked to clean up the crash.
