Truck driver’s body sat in hot trailer for 20 hours before anyone noticed he was missing

A truck driver was found unresponsive inside of his trailer outside of a warehouse in Arizona on Friday morning. 

The driver was found on Friday, August 7th at the Chewy fulfillment center along 143rd Avenue in Goodyear, Arizona. 

According to Fox10 Phoenix, staff at the warehouse contacted the Goodyear Police Department for help in locating the driver of a truck that was parked on the property. Police responded to the welfare check and discovered the body of the driver inside of the trailer. 

Employees say that the truck driver had finished his shift at the warehouse about 20 hours before he was finally found. Investigators say there are no obvious signs of foul play.

The truck driver has not been publicly identified or confirmed as an employee of the warehouse. The investigation is ongoing as authorities wait for the medical examiner to release the cause of death.
