A truck driver was unhurt after driving off an elevated section of an interstate in Florida on Wednesday.
The accident happened on Wednesday, August 12th on northbound Interstate 110 in Pensacola, Florida.
According to the Pensacola Fire Department was called on reports of a single vehicle wreck that sent a semi truck plummeting off of an elevated section on I-110. The truck driver says there was a “little rain” and the back of the rig fishtailed, which is what led to the accident.
“Next thing you know I’m seeing everything spin and then BOOM.. I climbed out. It’s still kinda impossible,” truck driver Jonathan Crenshaw said to Pensacola News Journal.
The Florida Department of Transportation was notified of damage to the overpass as a result of the crash. No further information on the crash has been released.
