A woman was arrested for menacing and assault after fighting with her truck driver boyfriend in the cab of his semi truck earlier this week.
Police were called to the 1900 block of David Street in Grand Junction, Colorado on Wednesday afternoon, April 1st.
According to Western Slope News, police arrived to find a truck driver and his girlfriend, 30-year-old Cesia Hidalgo, had been involved in a dispute inside of the semi truck cab. During that dispute, Hidalgo allegedly struck the truck driver with an object and grabbed a knife.
Both people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Officers later arrested Hidalgo and booked her into the Mesa County Detention Facility on charges of menacing with a real or simulated weapon, second-degree assault with a deadly weapon, and domestic violence.
Hidalgo is now out on $5,000 bond. No further information about the incident has been released.
