Trucking internet is buzzing about the upcoming winter storm set to affect over 230 million people over the weekend and into Monday.
Truck drivers on a popular trucking reddit thread are especially focused on the incoming weather, with posts spanning from messages from dispatch to vows to stay parked to promises to keep on trucking.
“Shut it down,” wrote one driver with a reasonable safety message from dispatch attached.
“Thank goodness, our safety manager understands the situation, and precisely what to d- wait what?” joked another with a slightly less reasonable, less cautious message from safety attached.
“In a couple of hours thousands of Dispatchers will be getting ready to ask drivers to push on ahead before going home for tonight,” lamented another.
Meanwhile, other drivers are feeling more lighthearted about the whole thing, posting memes about raising prices for loads and even promising that they won’t be stopping for a little winter weather.
“Who rollin’ and where to?” asked one.
Whatever your strategy to get through the storm, stay safe, drivers!
