A trucking company owner-operator was one of three men indicted following a federal investigation into a drug trafficking ring selling methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl throughout Northeast Ohio.
On March 19, 2026, officials announced that Erin House, 53, was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute and to Possess with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, and Cocaine, as well as Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine.
House was charged alongside Ishmael Wahid, 52, and Roy Wimberly, 50, after federal agents seized over $4 million worth of illegal drugs, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio.
Officials said that between April 2025 and February 2026, the three men were involved in a conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine throughout Summit County, Ohio, and the surrounding regions.
“Investigators found that Wahid communicated often with House, who was the owner of House Brothers Trucking. During a search at a traffic stop on Interstate 71 in Medina County, approximately 8 kilograms of cocaine and approximately $144,000 in cash was found hidden in a compartment of a Peterbilt semi-truck driven by House and owned by House Brothers Trucking,” authorities said.
At a separate search at a public storage facility rented by Wahid, officers found approximately 25 kilograms of methamphetamine, 1 kilogram of cocaine, and approximately 5 kilograms of fentanyl.
Wahid was arrested during a traffic stop, during which agents seized additional methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and more than $84,000 in cash from his vehicle.
When a court-authorized search warrant was executed at Wimberly’s residence, agents found approximately 2 kilograms of methamphetamine, fentanyl pills, and an arsenal of firearms.
