Two men were arrested in connection with a major truck theft investigation in North Carolina and South Carolina.
On July 24, 2026, the Florence County Sheriff’s Office – South Carolina (FCSO) announced the arrests of Andre Horace David Jumpp, 38, and Prince Raymond Leon Betts, 37.
Each suspect was charged with nine counts of Grand Larceny, as well as Criminal Conspiracy, Unlawful Entry Into Enclosed Places, and Malicious Injury to Property.
Officials say that between November 8, 2022 and October 4, 2025, Jumpp and Betts stole nine commercial motor vehicles in the Florence area with an estimated total value of $876,500.
The arrests come as part of an ongoing investigation involving FCSO, the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office and other enforcement agencies in North Carolina.
A total of 2 motor vehicles, 13 semi trucks and 3 trailers with a combined estimated value of over $1,000,000 have been recovered from North Carolina and South Carolina as part of this ongoing investigation.
