Video shows car driver scoot out of the way to avoid apparent runaway semi truck

A car driver has a remarkably close call with an out-of-control semi truck in this dash cam video.

The video was shared on March 16, 2026, by YouTube user The Duke Allocer.

In the clip, you can see the dash cammer slowing as a car in front attempts to make a left turn across oncoming traffic. The rear-facing camera shows a semi truck approaching the dash cammer from behind at a high rate of speed. Without much room to maneuver, the dash cammer manages to pull off just enough to allow room for the truck to pass by without a crash.
