Police in California shared video from a recent theft targeting a commercial truck hauling computer equipment that occurred at a busy intersection with the driver behind the wheel.
The video was captured on February 20, 2026, in Chino, California.
From the City of Chino Police Department (CPD):
“On Friday, officers responded after a commercial truck driver reported a theft while stopped at an intersection. The driver observed two vehicles position themselves in front of and behind his truck before suspects exited, cut the trailer lock, and stole computer equipment.“
CPD said that the suspects fled on foot and in a van after they were confronted.
Police tracked the suspect vehicle when it entered 60 Freeway, performed a high-risk traffic stop, and arrested the two suspects, who were residents of Los Angeles and Cudahy.
CPD located burglary tools and the stolen computer equipment valued at $7,000 inside the suspect vehicle.
“This case highlights the importance of quick reporting and coordinated response in disrupting organized theft. If you see suspicious activity, report it immediately,” CPD said.
