An ambulance crew and a truck driver were sent to the hospital after colliding on a New York Interstate on Saturday.
The accident happened on May 14th on I-84 in Brewster, New York.
According to the Journal of Emergency Medical Services, an ambulance was on its way to a reported accident on I-84 when it was struck by a tractor trailer. The wreck sent both vehicles crashing into the guardrail in the center median with the semi truck resting partially on top of the ambulance.
The wreck spilled a portion of the truck’s load of milk, along with 250 gallons of diesel fuel. The entire ambulance crew and the trucker were all transported to a nearby hospital for treatment following the wreck. The injuries were all considered minor.
