Police in Ontario are seeking a suspect who was caught on video hanging onto the trailer of a truck traveling at highway speeds early Wednesday.
The video was captured around midnight on March 8 in Burlington, Ontario.
OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt said that a suspect in grey pants and a black top was spotted on the trailer as it travelled on Queen Elizabeth Way.
The driver filming the video flagged the truck driver to warn them of the person on the trailer. When the trucker pulled over, the suspect on the trailer fled.
Burlington police searched for the suspect but have not been able to locate him.
“Certainly a very dangerous behaviour, something that we don’t ever want to see and certainly could cause serious injuries or deaths if there was a collision or he fell from the trailer,” Schmidt said.
