One dead, six injured in red-light wreck between two semi trucks

One person was killed and six more were injured in a wreck involving two semi trucks and a pickup truck in the Texas panhandle on Monday. 

The accident happened on June 19th in Oldham County, Texas at 10:20 a.m. on highway 385 near Boys Ranch. 

According to ABC 7 News, 83-year-old truck driver, Bernard Sneller, slammed into the back of another semi truck as it was stopped at a red light in a construction zone. The second truck was then shoved into a pickup also stopped at the red light. 

Sneller was pronounced dead at the scene, and all six people in the pickup, including a three-year old, six-year-old, and sixteen-year-old, were transported to a hospital in Amarillo with minor injuries. 

No further information has been released.
