More than 300 free lunches handed out to truckers at California weigh station

This week, hundreds of truck drivers were treated to a free lunch at a weigh station in California as part of Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

On September 11, a Driver Appreciation event was held at the Cordelia Inspection Facility located off of I-80 in Fairfield, California.

The event was held in partnership with the California Highway Patrol, the California Trucking Association, and PrePass.

Event organizers say that they handed out more than 300 lunches to truck drivers passing through the facility.
