Arkansas authorities are responding to a serious pileup crash that occurred near Cash on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred on northbound U.S. Highway 67 at Highway 226 in Jackson County.
Local outlet KARK reports that 15 vehicles were involved the pileup, including 4 commercial vehicles and 11 passenger vehicles. The outlet reports that a nearby fire caused heavy smoke and low visibility conditions, which led to the pileup.
Arkansas State Police report multiple casualties including at least two fatalities.
