Teenager crushed beneath semi truck at plant under prior investigation

Plant under investigation for the second time in a year after a 19-year-old crushed beneath semi truck.

The accident happened just before midnight on Tuesday, February 20th at Pitman Family Farms in Sanger, California. 

According to ABC 30, 19-year-old Jose Abrego became trapped underneath a tractor trailer after crawling beneath it. It is not clear exactly what Abrego was doing underneath the truck. 

Emergency responders tried to revive the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say that there are no signs of foul play. 

There was a death at the same plant back in 2023, and the property is already under investigation
