On Wednesday, the Women In Trucking Association (WIT) released its annual list of the top companies in the transportation industry for women workers.
The WIT ranking includes motor carriers, third-party logistics companies, and original equipment manufacturers.
Companies are chosen for the “Top Companies for Women to Work in Transportation” list based on gender diversity policies, compensation and benefits, flexible work scheduling options, and opportunities for career advancement. Nominated companies are vetted to make sure that they meet minimum requirements, and then transportation industry members vote to determine the “Elite 30” of the 2024 Top Companies for Women to Work in Transportation.
