Side ripped off of tractor trailer in crash involving rig that crossed the center line

The side of a tractor trailer was ripped off and a load of logs was spilled in a crash involving two semi trucks and a passenger vehicle on Wednesday. 

The accident happened on Highway 63 in Near North Bay, Ontario, Canada on September 10th. 

According to the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police, one semi truck crossed the center line on Highway 63, colliding with an oncoming tractor trailer. The force of the collision ripped off the side of one tractor trailer and spilled a load of logs. A passenger car was also struck in the accident. 

Only one person sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital. A 60-year-old truck driver from Frankford was charged with careless driving for the accident. 

The roadway was blocked by the load of logs, and cleanup of the area took several hours. No further information has been released.
