I-80 in Wyoming shut down for tractor trailer crash that killed at least one

The Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) is asking drivers to seek alternate routes following a fatal crash on I-80 on Thursday.

A crash involving tractor trailers took place shortly before noon on September 18 on I-80 near Arlington, Wyoming.

At least one person was killed and another was airlifted to a hospital for treatment of injuries, according to local outlet Cowboy State Daily.

“I-80 Eastbound is currently closed between Laramie and Rawlins due to this crash, and is expected to be closed for several hours. As we work with WYDOT and other emergency crews to clear the area and ensure the safety of everyone involved, expect delays on I-80 Eastbound or find an alternate route,” WHP said.
