As it turns out, Newton’s first Law of Motion is correct; objects in motion do indeed stay in motion.
This driver witnessed Newton’s Law first-hand as he is pulling his boat and trailer down the highway and he sees his boat and trailer fly past him. Â Apparently the driver did not hook up the trailer all the way, because when the driver slowed down, his boat and trailer did not… they kept going.
