Joplin 44 Petro, I-44 & Exit 4, Joplin, Missouri has just set the dates for its annual two-day event to Celebrate America’s Truckers . Joplin 44 Petro will host the 17th Annual Joplin Truckers Jamboree on May 17 – 18, 2013. The event will feature exhibits, an antique car and truck display, live entertainment, carnival rides, fireworks both nights, a BBQ cookout and more!
“We appreciate how hard a professional driver’s job is and this is our way to show our thanks,” says Joel Hamilton, general manager.
Last year, CDL Life visited the All Roads Lead to Joplin Truck Show at the Joplin 44 truck stop. While there, we caught some great photos of classic trucks, and also found a heartwarming story of hope and perseverance from the devastating tornado that rained destruction down on this mid-sized Missouri town in May, 2011. We’re excited to be going back to this great trucking community who loves their drivers and loves their city!
