Colorado Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Woman Found Near Truck Stop

Fountain, Colorado police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who was found near a truck stop on Interstate 25.

Police discovered the woman on Tuesday night in the area of the Tomahawk Truck Stop. The woman identified herself only as Beverly.  When she was found, she was wearing a blue “Colorado” sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, a red stocking hat and a blue jacket.  She was carrying a blanket with a southwest print on it.

Authorities said the woman appears to be in her 50s to 60s with brown eyes and sandy blonde hair.  Police said the woman may have a mental illness and was suffering from exposure to winter weather.  She was taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation.
