Fountain, Colorado police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who was found near a truck stop on Interstate 25.
Police discovered the woman on Tuesday night in the area of the Tomahawk Truck Stop. The woman identified herself only as Beverly. Â When she was found, she was wearing a blue “Colorado” sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, a red stocking hat and a blue jacket. Â She was carrying a blanket with a southwest print on it.
Authorities said the woman appears to be in her 50s to 60s with brown eyes and sandy blonde hair. Â Police said the woman may have a mental illness and was suffering from exposure to winter weather. Â She was taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation.
