A white pony with a unicorn horn attached to her head escaped from a children’s birthday party and roamed the streets of Madera County for about three hours last night before the California Highway Patrol was able to capture her.
Officer Justin Perry said, “We got a call of a unicorn running in the roadway on 12th avenue near Road 32,” which he admits was a first for him in his fourteen year long career.
Police used a helicopter and heat seeking technology to find the creature. Their quest ended when they tracked her down to an orchard. A neighbor used her own horse to lead the unicorn into a pen, ending her mythical journey.
