A senior class trip took a terrifying turn on I-78 in Lehigh Valley yesterday.
According to reports, the bus carrying 37 students was headed west on I-78 around 10:30 a.m. when it began to have engine problems and decelerated in the center lane.
As the bus driver tried to maneuver over to the right shoulder, a FedEx truck reportedly tried to get around the bus and wound up sideswiping it. This caused the FedEx truck to lose control and crash into a Harnett Trucking tanker .
Five students and both truck drivers involved were transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
