‘Multiple Casualties’ Reported After Tanker Explodes At Asphalt Plant
Serious injuries have been reported following a tanker truck explosion at an asphalt facility in Glenville, New York.

The explosion happened around 1 p.m. at a Mohawk Asphalt Emulsions location at 6 Freemans Bridge Road.
At least three people were injured. Two of those people were burned and it is unclear at this time if any of the injuries are life-threatening.
Another truck driver on the scene said that several people were surrounding the tanker shortly before it exploded.
At least 20 emergency vehicles responded to the explosion. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames with a foam fire retardant.
It is still unclear what caused the tanker to explode.
