Topless woman steals front-end loader, drives it across Montana town to retrieve shirt

A Montana woman was arrested over the weekend for stealing a piece of heavy construction equipment and taking it on a partially-dressed joyride across town before crashing into a fence.

The incident happened around 8 a.m. on Sunday, July 1, in Great Falls, Montana, according to the Great Falls Tribune.

Police say that 34 year old Heather Houston was partially unclothed when she stole a front-end loader from a business and drove it across town to an apartment complex where she lived. Houston reportedly crashed the front-end loader through a fence and then drove it up to the apartment complex. From there, police say that Houston lifted the bucket of the front-end loader up to one of the upper apartments and used it to climb up to the unit where she lived. She then climbed inside the apartment to retrieve a shirt.

Grand Falls police arrested Houston and charged her with felony criminal mischief and criminal endangerment. More charges could follow pending the results of the investigation.

Houston’s neighbor Molly Broxholm posted about the incident on Facebook, writing, “Oh how I cherish my mornings to sleep in… lol just kidding!!! Got woken up to our TOPLESS upstairs neighbor driving an excavator into the building! Woke up to the sound of crunching thinking someone was doing yard work until we hear people yelling, looked out the window and saw this, on and smashing its way in. She then proceeded to climb into her window above us and get clothes. YOU HEARD IT FIRST FOLKS, HERE AT MOLLY NEWS NOW! PSA: DON’T DO DRUGS KIDS!”

Broxholm also shared several photos of the damage that Houston’s joyride left behind at the apartment complex.
