Driver gives head-scratching excuse for not strapping down load

Officials in Georgia say that they caught a truck driver who had an unusual reason for his load securement violation.

On January 27, the Georgia Department of Public Safety shared a Facebook post detailing the “Violation of the Week.”

They wrote: “Violation of the Week – Officer advised that the driver thought the load was heavy enough to not be strapped down. Not a single strap was used.
Properly Secure the Load – Every Time.”
