Light pole downed by trucker with BAC 5x the legal limit

A truck driver crashed into a utility pole after driving with a blood alcohol concentration at 5x the legal limit. 

The incident happened on Monday, July 5th just after 1 p.m. in Streetsboro, Ohio. 

According to 19 News, the semi truck was traveling along State Route 14 by Market Square Drive when it went off the right side of the road and hit a utility pole, knocking it partially over. 

The truck driver suffered a few minor injuries, failed a series of field sobriety tests, and registered a BAC of .227. The legal BAC limit for truck drivers in Ohio is .04. 

The police made the following statement about the incident:

Today at approximately 1pm SPD officers responded to a one unit motor vehicle crash on SR14 in the area of Market Square Drive. The vehicle involved was a commercial semi tractor and trailer, that drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Officers on scene determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol after he failed a series of sobriety tests. The driver provided a breath sample which showed him to have a .227BAC, the legal limit for commercial drivers in Ohio is .040BAC. Fortunately, the driver only received minor injuries as a result of the crash

It is not clear what charges, if any, the trucker is facing.
