Published:

Everyone walked away unhurt from a semi crash that ended with a car completely submerged in wood chips in California on Wednesday.

The accident happened on September 22nd in Carson, California at around 2:15 p.m.

According to ABC 7 News, the semi truck was traveling along the transition road from the southbound 110 Freeway to the Eastbound 91 Freeway when it overturned on top of a nearby car.

The force of the overturn spilled the rig’s load of sawdust and completely covered the sedan, trapping two motorists inside. Luckily, the Los Angeles Fire Department was able to rescue both motorists, who both appeared to be uninjured.

The truck driver was also unhurt in the wreck, although one of the motorists was sent to a hospital for evaluation as a precaution.

The incident is still under investigation and the roadway has since been reopened.
