VIDEO: Plane crashes into traffic on I-12 in Louisiana
A small plane struck a pickup and came close to hitting a passing semi truck during an emergency landing that was caught on video.
The incident occurred on October 28, 2021, near Pumpkin Center, Louisiana.
There were three people aboard the five seater plane when a sudden loss of oil pressure caused the engine to fail and forced the pilot to attempt an emergency landing on I-12 westbound.

According to Louisiana State Police, the plane struck the driver’s side of a Ford pickup truck during the landing, then proceeded into the median of I-12.
No injuries were reported.
In video captured at the scene, you can see a semi truck and the Ford pickup traveling west on the interstate as the plane lanes in active lanes of traffic.
