Semi slams into three rigs stopped to chain up, injuring several

Published:

Several semi trucks were severely damaged on Tuesday afternoon when a semi truck slammed into a group of stopped rigs.

The accident happened on December 28th on Interstate 90 along the Snoqualmie Pass in Washington.

According to KPQ News, a semi truck was traveling too fast for conditions when it slammed into three stopped semi trucks as they were chaining up. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt in the incident, but serious damage was done to several of the trucks.

I-90 westbound was closed east of the Snoqualmie Pass summit at Price Creek for two hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the incident.

Troopers say there were numerous other accidents during that time not involving the semi trucks.
