Two men are facing drug trafficking charges after police discovered hundreds of pounds of cocaine concealed within a produce shipment.
The drug bust began around 2:30 a.m. on March 25 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Officers with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department (LVMPD) stopped a semi truck for erratic driving near I-15 and St. Rose Parkway.
“The nervous driver had a story that didn’t add up,” LVMPD said.
A LVMPD canine named “Nuggetz” alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle.
Officers conducted a search and discovered 230 pounds of cocaine amid the truck’s load of tomatoes.
The estimated street value of the seized drugs is $10.5 million.
Nanak Singh and Chandra Prakash were booked on trafficking a controlled substance.
