“Worked at KAG for nearly 4 years out of the Tacoma terminal. Was making $26 an hour by the time I left in 2018, and would be about to make 30.50 an hour if had stayed-with overtime, so was doing about 50hrs a week when I left, 45.75 hr overtime, that's about 87k a year. This was by far the best place I worked in 18 years of driving, started in 2000 doing OTR, KAGW was the first place I hauled gas at though. My experience with KAGW was excellent, and that is saying a lot for driving, cause had a many bad experiences before KAGW with trucking. Some drivers who are really down on dispatch, and KAGW at least in tacoma-seattle, they either haven't had much experience outside of KAGW or tankers, or maybe they are the problem. In dispatch Greg and Todd come to mind as really understanding your situation, and several others. They knew more about a lot of stations than I did, and driving gas truck in general, cause they both did it quite a while. Very few issues with dispatch, it wasn't perfect but was close. The terminal manager Ben Nelson was always fair, I have nothing but good to say about him, about Mike Hutton, and Blaine. Really, about nearly everyone.. Just a few drivers had some friction with, very occasional dispatch, but only a few. Gas truck drivers are in general a cut above other CDL drivers, even the few had some friction with, I still respect what they do for a job, cause if you don't got it together a little bit hauling gas, something bad will happen, can't get lucky for very long. I think the mechanics were understaffed in tacoma, that would be one thing that could be a negative. But your getting paid by the hour if its an issue. KAG let me transfer to Indiana, no problem. Was only planning to stay in trucking at most another year in Indiana anyways, been working at changing careers altogether. Well, in Indiana they pay by the load, not by the hour, I will just say that changes a lot of things and that paying any truckers by the load is a really bad idea for safety reasons, especially gas trucks. KAGW Tacoma-Seattle is a great place to work.” C.H. -Google Review

“Kenan Advantage Group is a growing force in the fuel hauling industry. If you are willing to work there is money to be made. 12 to 14 hours a day is common 5 days a week. Kenan offers a weekend warrior program which is 4 day on 3 days off work. Friday through Monday working with Tuesday through Thursday off duty.
