“Had some ups and downs in the past. No one, or any company is perfect. But this is the closest you'll find for a perfect trucking job. I literally live out of the truck. Get my freedoms to go to the gym and bodybuild while on the road. This company isn't huge where you're just a number, and not too small where they are short on funds for maintenance etc. Lots of benefits and great company pay. Taking home $1,050-1,250 per week after taxes and all, as a company driver ain't bad. Especially on an e-log.” John M - Facebook
“People can say all this bad crap about Summitt they want, but let me tell you this, in 2004 my wife passed away while I was out. I was told to take my truck to the truck stop and park it. The company had a plane ticket reserved and gave me a comcheck number to fly me and my dog home, and sent a limo to the airport to take me home all at no charge to me.” Charlie W - Facebook
“One of the best companies I've worked for. I only had one issue that seems like a big issue until the end of the week and be oh ok well it worked out. I ran for percentage and the rates were far from what I was used to seeing. All their rates averaged $1 a mile or below but all I ran was from Atlanta to Louisville and back everyday Monday thru Friday and the smallest check I took home was $2000. On average I took home $2900s and $3100s every week. Of course I had my own truck. Idk about the company side. I heard it was good. But for o/o that want to make good money and be home I would tell them to go there. Danny was the best dispatcher to have.” Truckin Mann - Facebook
