Detroit Auto Show 2012The Detroit International Auto Show kicked off this week and there’s lots of interesting projects and technology on display. We grabbed some photos of what’s coming to dealerships in 2012 from Ford, GM, Chevy, Volvo and many others.

Since the emphasis is on efficiency and commuter convenience, smaller vehicles were given special priority but that doesn’t mean some of these tiny terrors can’t rip up the asphalt when needed. US automakers continue to experiment with hybrid and electrical vehicles for commuter options. They feature slim power plants, sleek lines, eye-popping colors and powerful entertainment and navigation technology to enhance driver safety and driving experience. What do you think truckers?
