Thanks to all of you who read, shared and searched for a missing truck driver last weekend– it’s amazing what all of you are capable of doing when working together to spread the word. Since driver Linda Richards was found, many of you asked how she was doing and how she was found.
According to the Missing Truck Driver Alert Network’s facebook page, “U.S. Xpress Operations was able to locate Linda on Thursday evening in Cartersville, Ga. She is safe and doing well after feeling very sick for the past couple of days. We also recovered the truck and trailer.”

If you haven’t heard about the Missing Truck Driver Alert Network, you should check them out. The Missing Truck Driver Alert Network is a 501 501c(3) Non-Profit charitable organization– all donations are 100% tax deductible.
The program’s mission is to assist families and loved ones locate missing truck drivers by alerting social media outlets.
“We make every effort to assist loved ones and friends in locating the missing drivers by working with the law enforcement agencies involved. This page is dedicated to the Memory of Mark Williams Sr,” the site states.
In addition to posting missing bulletins to their sites and others, the program also sends out text alerts and will soon offer a smartphone app. The app is expected to be released soon.
