Progressive Announces Trucking Heroes Contest

Progressive Insurance has announced that for the second time, it will reward a “Real Life Trucking Hero.”

The contest was developed to reward a driver who has gone above and beyond or done something heroic to help others.

All are encouraged to send in their nominations.  Any truck driver can be nominated, for any reason.  Do you know a driver who has helped a stranded motorists in his or her time of need?  Do you know a driver who consistently delivers on schedule or who is safe and courteous on the road?  We’re sure you do! Nominate them.  Good drivers deserve to be recognized.

To nominate a driver, visit progressivecommercial.com/truckinghero and in a short essay, explain why you think they deserve to be called a “Real Life Trucking Hero” and submit a photo.  You may also nominate yourself!

Submissions will be accepted from now until September 30.  After the submission cut-off date, a two-week voting period will take place to determine the top four entries.

All four winners will receive an award.  The grand prize winner will receive $5,000!
