An Australian truck driver and Iraq war veteran is fighting for his life after plunging 65 feet over a bridge and onto the road below.
The crash occurred on the Bolte Bridge in Melbourne, Australia when a car tried to merge into the driver’s lane. The car clipped the truck. The truck then swerved to the right before veering across all four lanes and flipping onto the barrier.
The truck driver, Yousef Jaffary, was thrown from the truck to the road below.
Jaffary was taken to a hospital and is currently in critical condition.
